The team at Beacon was excellent. I also really appreciate the level of integrity I experienced during my visit. Other shops will do all they can to extract as much money from their customers as possible, but the Beacon team does the opposite. The Beacon team is a model for customer service and relationship building. I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to do business with a team of professionals who put more pride in their work rather than milking their customers for every penny.

I had a brake issue with having to add brake fluid constantly. I figured out I needed a new master cylinder and brake booster. A quote came in from another shop at $1500. I researched the parts and replaced it myself. My brakes did not work at all. I towed the vehicle to Beacon and they did the job for $1100. My brakes now work perfectly. From this experience, I am no longer a junior mechanic and I will use Beacon from now on.

Beacon Automotive is a true automobile diagnostic center, repair shop and routine maintenance haven. I have an older vehicle which requires more attention and time. They truly care about diagnosing issues and repairing it for their customers. Not to mention the things they find along the way and repair with no charge! I previously left a fair review for Beacon with a rating of three stars. My previous review talked about how the culture for auto repairs is moving in a direction where you have to pay for an estimate in many places and how unfair it is to the consumer (me) who is out of pocket for the cost of the estimate if I decide to go somewhere else. Within one hour of leaving the review, I received a call from the owner of Beacon Automotive. He thanked me for my fair review and explained that Beacon Automotive offers free estimates but that a full diagnostic will cost me a few dollars because he has to pay his technician for their time. He did NOT ask me to remove my review or change my rating, and when I offered to, he said it was a fair review, and it wasn't necessary. What stood out to me was his proactive approach to customer feedback, showing that he cares about the quality of service his company provides. When a company owner cares enough about the reviews his company receives that he calls his customers after hours to see what he can do to improve the situation and make it better, that company is the one I want to work on my car. I have used Beacon many times in the past, and I can tell you that they are fair, honest, friendly, knowledgeable, and deeply respect their customers. I highly recommend them. In a world filled with car mechanics you cannot trust, this place is a breath of fresh air. Way to go for contacting me; it says so much about the business and speaks volumes about the customer service you will receive here. 5 Stars deserved!

On June 14, 2024 stopped for breakfast and then vehicle would not start. Beacon Technician drove over in a golf cart with computer diagnosed the problem gave us a temporary fix to get us to our destination which was a 150 miles away and we were 200 miles from home. Their expertise and customer service is top tier! They deserve 5 stars and more! Got home replaced fuse box on their recommendation problem solved!

Beacon Automotive was my life saver! I am not from the Augusta area, but was in town due to a family emergency. On my way from NW GA to Augusta, my car had started showing signs of a problem. I knew that I had to get it repaired before traveling back, especially since I had to go through Atlanta. I went online to find a repair shop. Beacon Automotive immediately caught my eye due to their very high rating. I called them and explained my situation. They got me in and repaired my car that day. I absolutely love the services I get from Beacon Automotive. Their prices are very affordable, and you get excellent services for half the price of what the car dealership service centers charge. I also love the fact that they are a local business. Wait times are very reasonable. I got an oil change done within 20 minutes of getting there.

Honestly this is the best place I’ve ever been when it comes to getting work done. Extremely friendly, professional and efficient! They explain everything to you (so that you understand lol) and they offer a warranty on their work. 100% would recommend over any place in town and I’ve tried a few! Only in the area for a short weekend trip and needed a patch for tire. Everyone was so nice, honestly I've never been in a shop typically ran by men where they were so nice and professional. I had such a minimal 35.00 repair but was treated as if I was spending alot more. It was obvious that customer service was a priority for everyone. Would highly recommend!!

We had a battery that went bad. 9 months ago. They put in a new one. Week ago, the battery die. I called, they said come in and we will take a look. It was about 8:30 am. AAA came by my house. Jump it and I was on my way. Kim said hi, can I help you. I just called about the battery. They went to work. In less than a hour. I was heading out on my Vacation. Thank you Kim and the staff of hard working people. We will be back again.

I have been using Beacon for years because they are the only ones I trust working on my vehicles. The owner is honest and isn’t the type to try to talk to you into anything you don’t need.I moved away a year ago but still brought my car back here for major repairs. Had been having brake issues. Initial repair and replacement of pads and rotors did remedy most of my concerns. However, one rotor was discovered to have a manufacturing defect. Beacon replaced all brake pads and rotors again under warranty. Additionally, rear brakes were having issues. Once replaced, all braking is smooth as silk.Highly recommend for automotive service.

Beacon is a light in the darkness!! Once again coming to my rescue!! Jeep had a cold rough start and intermittent symptoms. They kept it overnight to see cold start issues. They tested and searched and found a tiny leak and resolved!! They are persistent and professional always willing to listen and assist. I had an emergency situation and we had recently moved to the area. We did not have a mechanic or even know where to start. We had left a mechanic in FL that we trusted so much we were actually driving our son’s car 8 hours to have him fix the air in a week. Since we couldn’t really have my car towed 8 hours, we started searching for local mechanics.I called a couple places and they could not get me in for a couple weeks. I found Beacon Automotive online and read the amazing reviews. From the moment I called and spoke to Kim, I was hopeful we had found our place. We had the car towed there and Kim was amazing at communicating where they were with things, what they found, what was necessary and what was not. They did amazing and fast work. Their prices were extremely fair and they didn’t try to scare me into paying for things I didn’t need.I can confidently say we have found our local mechanic. My Jeep Wrangler broke down on the highway. I had it towed to Beacon. The next morning, they were quick to call and update me on the issue that they found. They replaced my water pump and had the Jeep running by the next day. The owner test drove it himself to make sure it was good to go. Great service and pricing was fair.

In a time where you are skeptical of what a mechanic tells you about your car, i can tell you first hand that Jeff at Beacon is a throw back to when you can trust your mechanic. Where i grew up we all knew the mechanics and there family and they would treat you as such. When dealing with Jeff thats is the feeling you will get from this shop. I had a repair done here and was out of town when an issue arose. He took the time to call the dealership where my car was at and stood by his work so i was not out of pocket. I send my own family and friends here and i would highly recommend you do the same. An awesome shop with awesome people to help you.

I've taken my daughter's car to Beacon Automotive a couple of times. Both times I got above average service, reasonable repair costs, and the repairs were done right. They will do their best to get your car in and fix it quickly. The first time I had to wait a couple of days, but the second time they got it done the same day that I brought it in.
